DrakenSang is a game inspired by the classic board game of the same name. But back in 2008, fans of good role-playing games (RPGs) received a real gift, in the form of the game Drakensang: The Dark Eye. It was an exciting and beautiful role-playing game in the best traditions of Baldur’s Gate 2 and Neverwinter Nights.
But after the release of The river of time, the game immediately “moved” online, so to speak. And the game itself has come a long way from an ordinary browser toy to a full-fledged game with its client.
Having chosen at the start of the hero of one of the four classes (warrior, archer, steamer and mage), we set off to save the fantasy country of Doria from the dark cultists who have unleashed the long-time enemy of people – the dragon. Along the way, you will have to visit many cities, cold caves and gloomy swamps and kill more than one hundred monsters.
So what keeps this game afloat for so long?
- Friendly and clear interface, which is not overloaded with anything superfluous.
- Its own really fabulous atmosphere. Quests inside the game make you want to read and delve into them. It looks like they really worked on it.
- The PvP system in Drakensang Online is interesting and straightforward. At any time, you can sign up for battles with other players, which are of three types: one-on-one duel, 3-on-3 group battles, or 5-on-5 battles in the “capture the flag” mode.
As a result, not only your PvP rating grows, but also the reserves of special resources, “fame” and “knowledge” are replenished, which allow you to develop two additional skill branches. One of them is responsible for efficiency in battles with other players, the other opens up various unique features: for example, it allows you to teleport to the city or deposit things with the kobold treasurer.
Drakensang is almost a world of endless adventure where one task can immediately begin another. And in general it turns out the world in which you want to live!
The game basically grows and develops. Add-ons come out all the time. It is also worth mentioning that very cool gear can be knocked out in the arena, or rather, bought for fame points that you get in a duel.
The only drawback is the lack of active Russian guilds with a fairly large number of Russian players.
