Microsoft introduced the white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. The differences do not end with the color – the gamepad costs less than the black one (it has been on sale for a long time).

But there is one caveat:

  • The price of a standard kit (with a stick adjustment tool and a USB-C cable) is $130. Replacement components need to be purchased for $60.
  • The black Xbox Elite Series 2 is only available as a complete set for $180. For this money, you get all the components, including the petals, additional sticks and D-pad, case and charging dock.

Thus, the white gamepad with all components will cost $190 – $10 more than the black version.

Sales of the white Xbox Elite Series 2 will start on September 21st. Pre-order is open.
