Activision management has decided to postpone the release of the mobile battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile until 2024.

The reasons are easy to guess; the publisher wants to spend more time refining the gameplay and implementing all the ideas. Previously, the game was planned to be released before the end of 2023, but the developers decided to take additional months to work on optimizations and fixes for errors that arose during testing.

In addition to the standard battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will also have regular modes for online battles. The game will be released on iOS and Android smartphones sometime next spring.
