Sony has hidden the first and only trailer for the Knights of the Old Republic remake, which was announced several years ago.

For this reason, users suggested that the developers were hinting that development of the project had been stopped. Officially, Sony cited problems with licensing the soundtrack as the reason for hiding the video, but the excuse is weak – the rights to the music from the trailer belong to the company. The version of the cancellation of production is also supported by recent layoffs at the Saber Interactive studio, which was recently transferred the rights to develop a remake after the Aspyr studio.

According to initial information, the release of the Knights of the Old Republic remake should take place in 2025.
