The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition received patch 1.1 – it is designed to solve many problems with the image and performance. The developers promise to fix the rest in future updates.
Some of the changes:
Improved dynamic resolution on PC.
Adjusted settings for “Very High” and “Ultra” graphics modes to make the game more comfortable for players with powerful graphics cards.
Improved frame rate in performance mode on consoles.
Increased texture resolution on Xbox Series S.
Fixed some crashes on consoles.
Fixed numerous instances of texture flickering on all platforms.
The update is already available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) and PlayStation 5. Versions for Xbox Series and Microsoft Store will be released by the middle of next week.
Recall, nextgen version The Outer Worlds suffered greatly due to terrible optimization. At the same time, many players and critics note that Spacer’s Choice Edition looks noticeably better than the original.
