Studio Volition shared plans for the future of the restart saints row and called the circulation of the game – more than a million copies.
Major update
At the end of November, the first major update will be released. It contains over 200 bug fixes and stability improvements, including in co-op.
Among the changes:
more rewards for passing tests,
reduction of repetitions in some classes,
improved vehicle management,
redesigned haptic feedback and DualSense adaptive triggers.
The November update will kick off a series of patches with quality of life improvements and fresh features.
Cosmetic DLC
Coming this week front to back – The first set of cosmetic items. The DLC will be free to download from any platform store.
Until the end of 2022, the developers will release several more free add-ons with “cosmetics”, some of which will only go to Expansion Pass owners. The Pass is already available to Gold, Platinum, and Notorious editions, and will be available for separate purchase during October.
Plans for 2023
Next year, the authors promise to release a lot of new content, including free gameplay innovations and additional areas of the city, as well as a story add-on in the Expansion Pass (can be purchased separately).
In addition, in 2023 Volition will continue to release updates and free cosmetic packs.
