Back in February of this year, independent developer Ruppertle presented the first version of a fan remake of the first-person shooter – Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. And on November 14 – a week ago – the project on the Unreal Engine 4 received a major update V1.02. For this event, the developer has prepared a fresh game trailer demonstrating three-dimensional models of opponents and new locations.
Version 1.02 of the remake of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 added 3 levels from the original game, 4 survival levels, a sandbox mode, the ability to view 3D models, a bonus level for testing and “a few secrets.” Apparently, there is still a lot of work ahead, but the result has been good. The game has not lost its retro style, but it has clearly improved many aspects.
You can download the remake only through Patreon developer. Unfortunately, it has not yet been released on any gaming platform. Fortunately, you don’t have to sign up for any subscription – the modification is completely free.
