Teyon Studios unusually announced the release of RoboCop: Rogue City with a trailer in which a Detroit reporter introduces RoboCop himself to citizens, extolling his advantages over ordinary cops. We remind you that the game was released today – November 2. And even without any transfers, immediately for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Only the version for Nintendo Switch was canceled Without explaning the reason.

Rating on Steam not yet, but critics were divided in their opinions – some liked the nod towards the original films and a lot of fan service, while others did not appreciate the boring plot and weak gameplay. On OpenCritic the game received a solid 70 points out of 100.

From the very beginning of development, it was clear that Teyon was inspired by the first two RoboCop films, which are thoroughly saturated with the spirit of the 80s and 90s. And yes, this is despite the plot about the distant future and some kind of cyberpunk. RoboCop: Rogue City, judging by the reviews, came out exactly the same.

The plot of the game tells the story of a man who, due to malicious intent and pure chance, turned into the first cyborg. On his behalf, we have to fight criminals, explore locations better than any detective, and, perhaps, find our way in dark Detroit.

In the near future, we, the AppTime team, will prepare a review of RoboCop: Rogue City and give our own verdict on the game. If you are interested in reading our opinion, subscribe to news about the game. We won’t keep you waiting long.
