This year is finally coming to its logical conclusion, and with it, the era of “normal” games of our smartphones seems to be coming to an end.

Previously, games on smartphones were something very special and often as strange as possible, then various mobile developers began to make clones, or even more correctly, analogues of computer series of games for smartphones.

And now we have reached the moment when powerful gaming companies and studios from the world of PC games fully conquer the mobile games market.

And all this long lead was to the fact that on Android smartphones you can already play the mobile part of the The Division series from Ubisoft, called The Division Resurgence.

I managed to try the game as part of a new test and then I will try to share with you the feelings of the game and the first impression.

The Division Resurgenceis a free-to-play story-driven co-op third-person shooter set in New York City. As in the previous parts of the series, players in the role of members of an elite squad will try to restore a city plunged into chaos after a pandemic.

And at its core, the mobile part of the game is not a port of the first part, but shows us the very first days of the pandemic of a dangerous virus.

According to the assurances of the developers, many episodes of the game will connect the plot of the first and second parts of the series, which will allow fans to close some plot holes for themselves.

And the first and rather important point concerns the features of installing the game on your smartphone:

  1. The test is only for Android OS
  2. To participate in the test, you need to download the APK file. For example, right here
  3. Synchronization via Ubisoft Connect is optional. You can feel the game in guest mode. All the same, your progress at the end of the test will not be saved.

On my POCO X3 PRO, the game ran at low graphics settings and at 30 FPS, but it didn’t spoil the shooting for me. Yes, and they say that these restrictions are temporary only in the framework of the current test.

Since you still shoot most often at bots, and the graphics as a whole do not pretend to be super-realistic.

And we will conquer the expanses of snow-covered New York and fight off its marauders as one of the three worthy character classes at the moment, namely:

  • Bulwark (Bastion)- a typical tank that has a shield that you can carry in your hand and cover yourself and your allies. Also, this class can put up barriers and shoot back from crowds of enemies.
  • Demolition (Destroyer)-. Demolishers or Demomen focus on explosives, and their signature weapon is the grenade launcher. Demomen are usually a class for players who want to blow things up and don’t care about stealth. The Demoman class can also summon artillery turrets and receive a frag grenade, the latter of which deals bleed damage.
  • vanguard (vanguard)- this is a new class created specifically Vanguard is a scout type class and can tag enemies after they are detected. The entire squad sees the red triangles and rushes to the targets.

As you can see, only one of the unique classes has been brought up so far, but we will write it off for now at the testing stage.

As for customizing the appearance of the character, everything is scarce here. Several hats, several faces of different races and a couple of jackets.

So, for the time being, absolutely identical doodles for the most part run around the expanses of the game. But the world in the game is fully open.

Although the first few hours of going through the story missions you feel pretty lonely in the game. Because the players in your location are not immediately visible.

But upon reaching level 10, a giant map, cities, the opportunity to join a clan, participate in various events and side missions open up in front of you. And even the possibility of crafting was brought here for some reason.

If we talk about races in this very world, then they are quite pleasant, albeit standard ones, such as clearing a location, protecting a territory, and stuff like that. But if you somehow want to further diversify the process of shooting and running, then you can connect a gamepad to the game and play.

Although, this is an amateur thing. But in general, I really liked running around the plot and shooting. Probably, I saw such cool shooting in mobile games only in Call of Duty Mobile.

Speaking about playing with other players, it’s worth saying that if you don’t have many friends and you don’t have anyone to play the game with, then the developers have brought a system of automatic selection of players for completing quests especially for you.

Below I will attach a video of my gameplay.

As for the PvP content in the game, it is represented here by the legendary and familiar Dark Zone for PC players and the usual Deathmatch mode.

But I won’t tell you about all the possible PvP activities yet, because I’m not an amateur.

Summing up, I would like to say that, in essence, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is a pleasant, albeit very strange project. It doesn’t look like it’s very good for a regular port for fans of a dilogy from a PC, and it has decent requirements for a smartphone.

Just as a game element that expands the universe of the world of The Division, it will only come down to fans, as a new player will have to play the PC version of the game to start.

Rather, he classified this project as a European response to games like Life After.

But in general, if you want some cool game on your smartphone, then mobile The Division is perfect because getting stuck in the exploration of the world, crafting and collecting items is pretty cool. And the winter atmosphere of New York is also quite immersive.

And this game has the makings to fall in love with itself and become a new hit and quality standard for mobile online games.

So, to run alone or with friends in this game, long winter evenings lying on the couch, I definitely recommend it. And I remind you that you can try the game until December 22.

If you decide to try the game yourself, then remember that you will need programs like SAI or Lucky Patcher for this. The APK file itself can be found here. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer.

In the process of installing and downloading the cache inside the game itself, 15GB of free space will be required.
