The Digital Foundry team tested the performance of the Resident Evil Village action game on the new iPone 15 Pro smartphone.

Apple called its new devices “a new stage in the development of mobile gaming,” but in reality, not everything turned out to be so rosy. Yes, the device launched the game, but there is no talk of any stable 60 FPS. In any case, with beautiful graphics – “soap” in performance mode does not count. At the same time, the smartphone gets very hot and literally “turns into an oven,” so you definitely won’t be able to play Resident Evil Village comfortably on it.

Setting the graphics to a high level, the game starts to crash and throttle. Apple will still have to work hard to improve its devices, rolling out a couple of firmware updates for their stable operation.
