Previously, insiders reported that Tencent Mobile and Riot Games are making separate versions of Valorant Mobile for the Chinese and global markets. Now they have partially confirmed this information, with one clarification – Riot will change the Chinese version of mobile Valorant to make it more like the PC version of Valorant.

It turns out that the versions will indeed be different, but the code base and developments will be from Chinese developers. Something similar can be expected from High Energy Heroes, which Respawn Entertainment will transfer to the global market.

As for the beta test of the global version of Valorant Mobile, it is scheduled for the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, as reported by the group Reporters on Duty. Let me remind you that during beta tests and trial runs, developers and publishers spend money to attract the target audience, and due to the high prices lately, Valorant Mobile has several attempts to prove that it is worthy of release.

They also report that some content creators were able to test the global version of Valorant. To do this, they probably had to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and also come to the Riot office for offline testing.
