HoYoVerse has finally released a major update to Honkai Star Rail 1.4 for PC and mobile devices. Awakening from Winter’s Sleep is now available to pre-load so you can jump right into the game on release on October 11, 2023. In addition, Honkai Star Rail will be released on the same day for PlayStation 5, which you can already buy for $9.99 at the PS Store.
The Honkai Star Rail 1.4 update brought two new locations to the game: “Pillar of Creation” and “Old Proving Ground”; heroes Jingliu, Topaz, Accountant and Guinaifen, as well as a sea of new content, such as the “Aether Wars” game mode and even collaboration between Honkai Star Rail and Dodo Pizza. Honkai Star Rail 1.4 will be 7.5 GB for Android, 6.7 GB for IOS, and slightly larger for PC at 9.4 GB. To start preinstallation, launch the game on any platform and follow the instructions below:
- For PC – Open the launcher and find the “Start Game” button to the left – “Preload Game”. Select “Get” to start downloading.
- For Android and IOS – Launch the game and click on the “Preload Resources” button, which is located in the lower right corner of the start screen.
