It’s a portable version of the PS5 that lets you play God of War, Horizon Forbidden West and other PlayStation exclusives on your couch over your home Wi-Fi.
PlayStation Portal will be available for purchase in the US, France, UK, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. While pre-orders are valid through the official website.
It is too early to talk about pre-orders in the Russian Federation through official dealers – with gray imports there will be a desynchronization compared to the Western start of sales.
The price tag for PlayStation Portal is 19,000 rubles, which is very good. The only confusing thing is that you need to buy a PlayStation 5 first, since without it, PS Portal turns into an interesting alternative to DualSense.
Author’s opinion – PlayStation Portal will not be able to become the killer of Nintendo Switch, since it is not a full-fledged portable console, but rather an expensive accessory for those who are tired of watching on 2K or 4K TVs.
