The writers of the Spider-Man game franchise are discussing the possibility of replacing the main character of the games, Peter Parker, with Miles Morales.
According to Britney Morris and Ben Arfman from Insomniac Games, this approach is a logical development of the character, who, according to the developers, can perfectly cope with protecting New York from criminals. Probably, these words are confirmed by the ending of the recently released sequel, which reveals certain details of the characters’ future.
A little later, representatives of the development studio said that their words about Morales replacing Parker were “taken out of context.” In short, exactly what Insomniac Games plans to do with its title remains a mystery.
