On November 13, gaming journalist Geoff Keeley broadcast live and announced the nominees for the annual The Game Awards. Already on the official website an opportunity has opened up leave your vote. The award ceremony for the winners will take place in early December – on the 7th.
The leaders in the number of nominations were Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 – each took part in 8 categories. On the next step behind them is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which claims seven awards at once, and behind it a whole bunch of hits: the rhythm slasher Hi-Fi RUSH, the action-RPG The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the new part of the platformer Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which are nominated for 5 nominations. Starfield also took part, but did not enter the game of the year.
Among the studios, Nintendo took the most categories, claiming 15 nominations at once. PlayStation follows closely behind with 13 nominations, followed by Microsoft with 10, Epic Games with 9 and Capcom, Square Enix and Larian Studios with 8.
