Players in overwatch today, August 16, will be able to start merging progress across platforms. Console users will be prompted to link their accounts upon logging into the game. Accounts will merge with the release of the sequel, said
Blizzard.

The basis will be the “account” Batte.net on a PC – you will need it to run
Overwatch 2. It will combine all in-game items, statistics from different platforms, settings and the highest rank in PvP.

The developers warned in red font that the opportunity to merge accounts will be only once, and advised to be careful.

Unfortunately, the FAQ about transferring progress so far only works correctly on the English version of the site. Check here for details.

Overwatch 2 is preparing for release in early access on October 4th. The project will be released in shareware format on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
