The celebration of the Lunar New Year has already begun in the Overwatch 2 shooter. The event will last from January 17 to January 31.
Players who log in before January 31st will receive a Year of the Rabbit badge, and after completing the challenges, players will receive the legendary Kkacchi Echo skin. There will also be other bonus cosmetics and additional experience for the Battle Pass.
All players will be able to receive unique rewards for participating in the following modes:
- Capture the Flag – Two teams of 5 compete to capture the enemy’s flag and defend their own.
- Quick Capture the Flag – A dynamic version of the Capture the Flag mode that places flags near the center of the map.
- “Headhunting” – An analogue of the “Every man for himself” mode, where a hunt is announced for the player who made the first kill. His health and super ability are restored, but he is also visible through the wall. By killing the target of the hunt, you yourself become the target.
In addition, during the event, players will have access to challenges that can be completed to earn a weapon talisman, a memento, and the Echo Legendary Kkacha skin.
