The Chinese brand OnePlus decided not to break tradition by introducing OnePlus 12 as one of the first “flagships of the new generation.” According to Android Police, they are going to show the new product on December 4 in China. This is a month earlier than the Samsung Galaxy S24.

OnePlus 12 will offer an X1 OLED display with a peak brightness of over 2,600 nits. This is enough for the sunniest days.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset – the top-end option in the Android market, barring the Dimensity 9300.

Another line of OnePlus 12 smartphones will support wireless charging at 50 W – many premium smartphones do not offer this even when charging via wire.

In terms of camera, the OnePlus 12 will use a 48MP LYT-808 sensor from Sony. It should take high-quality pictures even faster than its competitors.

The global release of OnePlus 12 should take place in January – “a month” after the Chinese announcement, as reported by the president of the Chinese division of OnePlus, Li Jie Lui.
