Chinese Room and Paradox Interactive presented new role-playing elements and narrative of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and also told more about the main character of the upcoming project. At the moment, the new product is in post-alpha, and the release is scheduled for autumn next year. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as old generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The emphasis of the broadcast is placed specifically on the new main character – the vampire Fire, who has considerable experience from the very beginning of the game. She knows how to live as a vampire, how to hunt people and has influence right off the bat. The only negative is that after a hundred years of sleep, it is difficult for a girl to adapt to the modern world. In addition, a new acquaintance appeared in her head from somewhere – Fabienne’s inner voice, with whom the heroine will have to find a common language.
As planned, Fire will become the hero you want her to be. Meetings with other vampires will swing the scales, tilting the heroine either towards good, or even quite the opposite. In the end, only the player will decide what will be said behind her back – just like in Mass Effect, when decisions on behalf of Shepard can radically change the ending.
The developers of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 promise customization of the main characters: changing gender, clan, clothing and biography. Moreover, this will affect not only the visual side, but also the dialogues.
