To coincide with the launch of the open beta, the developers released a trailer demonstrating the progress made.
The authors reported that the most popular OBT items from users have already been added to the game:
- The “classic” PVP mode has separate matchmaking using the “Realistic” game settings.
- Matches played through the lobby system are now also linked to overall progress, and it is now possible to unlock new battalions and collectible units after matches.
In addition, the Best Way team was able to improve the overall quality of audio and visual effects and reduce loading times when connecting to a match. The game also features a new PvE mode “Officer”, accessible through the multiplayer lobby, four new multiplayer maps and two single-player missions.
Men of War II will be released on PC in 2024.
