Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released for PC only on November 10, but players with pre-orders have already been able to try out the shooter. Apparently, a new campaign seemed to many simply outrageous, and some even considered it the most disastrous of the entire existence of the series. This is probably due to the reuse of a lot of models and interface details from past games, as well as mechanics that don’t work.
“This is, without a doubt, the worst and most offensive Call of Duty campaign I have ever played. Everyone who worked on this part of the game should be ashamed of themselves for releasing it. And Activision itself should be ashamed for doing this to the franchise.”
Some players felt that MWIII’s story campaign was too short.
“This is just a slap in the face for the fans. I’m shocked and appalled. All along, they had two or three missions that really stood out. But what kind of horror is this with open combat? If the campaign continues in this direction, it will be the official death of CoD.”
