Rumors have circulated online that the upcoming action game GTA 6 will use new technology to create realistic animations.

This is hinted at by a patent registered by the Take-Two holding, which indicates this system. The person behind the creation of the software is Tobias Cleanthus, who worked at Rockstar Games (which is developing GTA 6) from 2014 to 2021. The technology works based on a combination of many small elements that make up the character’s movement. By combining them in different ways, you can make the animations of the characters more realistic.

So far, there has been no information about the employee returning to his previous place of work, but, given the theory, everything fits.

GTA 6 was supposed to be announced in October, but that didn’t happen. The release of the game, most likely, is unlikely to take place before 2025.
