Halloween is just around the corner, so it’s time to remember Ghostbusters. On October 19, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed finally ceased to be exclusive to Xbox, PlayStation and Epic Games Store and received a port for Nintendo Switch and a page on Steam. In addition, developers from IllFonic presented a new free add-on, Ecto Edition, which adds new maps and expands the plot.
Ecto Edition will bring several story arcs to the game, as well as a new enemy – the ghost of the Overlord (and its variants). A new type of ghost emits terror that will increase fear in a certain area and “devastate” its opponents by swinging its claws and throwing objects. In addition, the game now has several new maps: a haunted restaurant in Booty Bay and Galway tube station.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a game for the Ghostbusters fan, as evidenced by many references and nods towards films and comics. The genre is a multiplayer action game designed for four players, the main goal of which is to catch ghosts. As you progress, various improvements are unlocked (which do not greatly affect the gameplay) and a sea of cosmetics for the heroes. In addition, the game is divided into different modes, such as PvP matches or battles with bots.
