The new version 4.2 of Genshin Impact “Masquerade of the Guilty” will be released on November 8th.
Following the storyline that began in version 4.0, players and residents of Fontaine will soon face one of the most serious crises ever to occur in the main storyline. The water of the Primordial Sea, capable of dissolving all Fontaines, is approaching the surface of the earth, awakening even more formidable monsters and enemies. Travelers will face new bosses.
Meanwhile, more powerful allies will appear in the game, including Furina, aka Hydro Archon, and reporter Charlotte. Hydro Archon Furina will be a five-star owner of the one-handed sword Hydro, and ace reporter Charlotte will be a four-star owner of the Cryo Catalyst.
In addition, two new areas are located east of the Cour de Fontaine, offering new underwater adventures for explorers.
