MADFINGER Games has announced a new first-person shooter that aims to breathe life and realism into the genre – Gray Zone Warfare. There is no release date yet, but the game is probably worth waiting for next year. At the moment, it is known that the shooter is being created on the Unreal Engine 5, and its events will unfold in a fictional country, somewhere in Southeast Asia. There are also plans for an “adult” storyline, a lot of realistic combat and weapon customization.
“Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a mature action game with an exciting story and many missions. Meet colorful characters and find out their secrets and plans. And also sort through the web of lies and decide who you can trust to get to the truth. Nothing is black or white.”
According to the developers Gray Zone Warfare is waiting for us:
- Realism. Detailed weapon customization and sophisticated ballistics. And also a unique health system in which injuries affect our gameplay.
- Gloomy atmosphere. A constant choice between good and evil, greed and selflessness, order and chaos.
- Large-scale open world. A 42 square kilometer fictional country in Asia that is inspired by the landscapes of Laos. They promise that the world will live without our participation.
