The Insider Gaming portal shared the latest data about the multiplayer game in the Far Cry franchise.

The source reports that the project will take place in an alternative version of Alaska. This land is in a state of permanent chaos, in which players will have to survive. We will need to collect resources and craft equipment, as well as improve our own shelter. Far Cry will have permadeath, meaning you will lose all progress on your character (except for items you put in storage).

There is no word yet on the release date of the new product, but we have to wait at least a couple more years (if Ubisoft doesn’t shut down development).
