Expansion storyline

As mentioned earlier, the action will take place on the Moon, where the Guardians have stumbled upon some Nightmare Hunters who are attacking people and seeking to drive humanity back into dark times. Go to the Moon and fight the Hive, and throw them as far away from their home as possible.

Features of the add-on

• The new season of Destiny 2 has barely begun, and talk about the future addition is already in full swing. Although it will be released very soon, there is very little information about it. Return to its surface. Venture deep into the mysterious enemy stronghold. Become a nightmare killer.”
• Most likely, we are talking about a more extended version of the “Forsaken” series, and not the introduction of a new season. And here we can be presented with a new patrol zone, which is located on the surface of the Moon. The Earth’s satellite was last introduced into the game in the first Destiny game, so seasoned players will appreciate this return. Moreover, in Destiny 1 the Moon looked very cool, so there is no doubt about the quality of execution. Previously, the “Hive” prevailed there, although there were other factions, however, this time it is impossible to say for sure who exactly will be our opponent. • In addition to the story of Shadowkeep and Year 3, a new activity called Nightmare Hunts will be released. It is still not entirely clear how exactly the nightmare hunters will act and what they are, but it will certainly be something extremely interesting. Moreover, details have become known about the new difficulty levels that will be added along with Shadowkeep. It is not yet known exactly what they are, but they have been shown in screenshots.
• Finally, we’ll learn a little more about the new three-player dungeon coming to Shadowkeep. According to the recently updated content roadmap, this dungeon will be added on October 29th, along with a new PvP mode and another exotic quest (which, oddly enough, is different in ViDoc from what was shown on the roadmap, with the former showing the Xenophage machine gun, and the second is the Divinity trace rifle). Producer Catherine Walker described the dungeon as an abyss “deep inside the moon” where “you’ll encounter all sorts of traps along the way and spiky rocks of death are also present.”

On October 22, new exotic quests will be added and, for example, the search for the exotic Leviathan Breath Bow is exclusive to the combat season pass and, apparently, this quest will be the first in the Shadowkeep add-on. It’s worth noting that the Undying Season Pass is included in Shadowkeep, so all active players will have access to the new content. However, it’s worth noting that some exotic quests are season-specific, and some come with DLC. For example, the Divinity trace rifle, arriving October 29th, only requires Shadowkeep.
