This summer, Wild River Games announced a partnership with schleich and ActaLogic to release a game based on the popular children’s toy series, Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp. The project’s release date is still unknown, although the game was originally planned for this fall. At the moment, the developers have already boasted of the first gameplay trailer and clarified that the adventure will be released for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

In Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp we have to go to a prehistoric island to save dinosaurs from a volcanic eruption. We will play as Jack, who will take on this difficult task. Together with him, we will track down dinosaurs on foot, in cars and ATVs in order to catch them and bring them to the camp for further observation and protection. Along the way we will encounter abandoned temples, puzzles and many secrets that we will have to solve.

It’s hard to say for sure about the genre of the game. Dinosaurs: Mission Dino Camp looks like a mixture of adventure and puzzles, in the spirit of the Shrek series that came out in the 2000s. Judging by the trailer, we will have to overcome obstacles, restore destroyed bridges, hide from predators and explore the world.
