The turn-based role-playing game The Starbites: Taste of Desert from the Korean studio IKINAGAMES is planned for 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms via Steam. Today, for the first time, the developers demonstrated the gameplay of the new product, introduced the characters and showed some game locations. So far, everything is very much reminiscent of Borderlands, at least visually.
The Starbites: Taste of Desert will tell us about the life of a girl from a huge desert planet with the sonorous name Gorky. Until recently, she earned her food by collecting garbage, like Rey from Star Wars, and now her life is changing dramatically because of the Oracle. Artificial intelligence on the planet begins to go crazy, unexplained anomalies appear and hidden secrets emerge. Will the heroine be able to deal with everything alone or will new acquaintances come to her aid?
