In September Intel launched Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), a supersampling technology similar to AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS. Darkflow Software and Gaijin Entertainment reported that XeSS is already supported in the online shooter Enlisted.
When XeSS is activated, the image is rendered at a reduced resolution, after which it is scaled to the target using artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware acceleration. This approach allows you to increase performance without noticeable damage to the graphics.
AT Enlisted Several Intel Xe Super Sampling presets are available – with an emphasis on performance, picture quality and balanced. According to the developers, the performance gain in Enlisted with XeSS enabled is up to 50% in 4K resolution.
We always try to use the latest technology in our games, especially if it enhances the gaming experience. In dynamic shooters like Enlisted, it is especially important to play at a high frame rate, but the picture must remain sharp. Support for Intel Xe Super Sampling will allow our users to play much more comfortable.
Shooter supports XeSS on Intel Arc graphics cards. Technology support on devices from other vendors will be added later.
