wolfram is an addictive shooter game developed by Chain Studios. The game was created for true old school fans, in simplified graphics with appropriate gameplay. It is a modern remake of Wolfenstein 3D, released in 1992. In this remake, elements of the original plot are preserved: William Blazhkovich, the main character, escapes from the fortress, hiding from the Nazis who flooded the city along the way. Despite the recognizability of the plot of 1992, the features of modern gameplay were introduced into the game. For example, the protagonist can use shadows from three-dimensional objects in which he can hide from the Nazis – elements of stealth. Aimed shooting mode is now available when using firearms. The nature of melee combat with melee weapons has also changed: the attack speed of a knife is now less fast, but each blow deals more damage.

The game uses unique graphics technologies: the use of dynamic chiaroscuro and glare.

The game offers ten levels, of which one is secret. The plot of the first ten levels is preserved and as close as possible to the original. Despite the fact that the game is made in a more modern style, the level design has remained almost unchanged. Also, the original soundtrack allows you to keep the original atmosphere of the game.
