WMYT: There is a time for everything is a sequel to the game A Stitch in Time. In the first part, a guy named Nathan was looking for Professor Coppelius in the rural outback to give him an important message. When the man arrived at the scene, he learned that this man had been missing for a year. In the sequel, the locations and characters have changed. However, both games are strongly related.

What Makes You Tick: A Stitch in Time begins with the arrival of Nigel Trelawney in a small town called Ravenhallow. The protagonist receives a letter from the missing father’s lawyer and decides to move into his estate. A relative mysteriously disappeared over a year ago. The Smith Institute once organized an expedition. The father of the protagonist took part in it, but never returned from the campaign. He was declared dead. Much has changed in the town since then. The institution closed and became abandoned, and the brutal baron seized power in the village. He established harsh rules and began to treat all outsiders with suspicion. The story is based on the unfinished work of Franz Kafka “The Castle”.

Before us is a two-dimensional quest with a side view and hand-drawn graphics. The character is controlled by the mouse. At the bottom of the screen, an interface pops up with a choice of actions: inspect, talk, take. The game has a change of time of day. Day and night alternate when the protagonist goes to bed. Puzzles are basically solved by finding the right items and applying them to the right objects. There is also a fishing mini-game.
