Warframe: Plains of Eidolon is a major addition to Warframe’s multiplayer game, featuring a new open area called The Plains and a city called Cetus. This small settlement has become home to scavengers: creatures that plunder ancient ruins and resell various artifacts. Cetus will become a new neutral territory, where you can meet not only NPCs from different factions, but also other players.

New quests will be available to receive from the inhabitants of Cetus. The reward for completing them can be both new unique modifications and the improvement of weapons and tools (for example, fishing can be done with a high-tech harpoon). A special character was the gunsmith, who brought with him a completely new game mechanic – the crafting system.

The plains surrounding the town will become a place for the extraction of new strategically important resources. However, their study is fraught with certain difficulties: so, in addition to opponents who are part of contracts and tasks, a real kaiju, Eidolon, enters the territory at night. This is a fighting machine of the ancients, which is still functioning, and will try to kill the player, if not with his own hands, then with the help of an army of small but aggressive drones.
