Train Driver is one of the best representatives of the train simulator genre. The game takes place in the 20th century. The gamer is transferred to vast locations created in the style of old England and can get acquainted with numerous equipment of the last century.

You will have the opportunity to manage a whole wagon train: an old steam locomotive, cabins in a specific finish and a driver’s control board. The game presents a three-dimensional world of incredible proportions. The user has the main task, you need to drive along numerous railway tracks along a strictly specified route. Each territory is equipped with special semaphores, residential buildings and stations with passengers.

Your path will not always be easy. Sometimes you will have to change the route and switch to alternate branches, if necessary. Train Driver has 10 real stations that exist in England. There is a small selection of trains in front of the player that can be driven. There are 5 locomotives in total: 3 steam and 3 diesel, and most importantly 34 railway tracks, which will be gradually opened.

The gameplay is divided into two modes: simplified and advanced. In the first one, you should not learn how to start the engine and manage the composition, AI helps a lot, it does most of the tasks for you. In the second one, you must follow strictly the instructions, change the tracks yourself and take full control of the train, this mode allows you to delve into the work of the driver.
