Tobe’s Vertical Adventure is an arcade platformer with colorful graphics that takes gamers into the vibrant world of games from 16-bit consoles. The project supports a lot of additional functionality – the ability to connect a gamepad is implemented, there is a leaderboard where the best results of passing one or another level of the campaign are noted, which is designed for both single study and cooperative study, and also, the developers added 13 rewards for completing some tests.

The entire story campaign includes 16 levels of varying duration, which are located on 4 islands that change the appearance of locations. The protagonist, named Toby, was forced to go on a journey through the archipelago by her beloved girl, Nana. She wanted to find treasure thanks to the ancient map, which marked the ways to get to wealth. On the way to the final battle, the gamer will have to deal with the rescue of wild animals that are under threat due to the actions of the villains.

Most of the path runs through underground labyrinths created by nature, where enemy characters have settled, who want to attack the player. Between segments of the gameplay, cut-scenes are often shown, explaining certain moments of the plot of the game “Toby’s Vertical Adventure”, and adding new facts to the overall picture.
