The Terminator: Future Shock + SkyNET is a first-person shooter that was released in the last century. This edition, released specifically to optimize for modern personal computers, includes two parts of the franchise at once, which were released with a slight difference in time. The first part, called “Future Shock”, included only a single-player campaign with a rare variety of tasks set for the gamer. The continuation of the original – “Skynet” – added multiplayer content and introduced new mechanics to single tasks. The only mode available for online is “Deathmatch”. Participants are divided into two teams – rebels and cars.

The storyline of the entire franchise takes place in 2015, in the near future relative to Sarah Connor’s timeline. All locations are constantly reminiscent of the complexities of the war that humanity is losing because of the exorbitant power of combat robots, because of which the world began to resemble a post-apocalypse. The protagonist of both games is a fictional soldier who did not appear in the original Terminator films. The hero will support John Connor and Kyle Reese in order to save the human race. Most of the game time is taken up by the extermination of enemies and moving around the map using an armored jeep or helicopter.
