Sudden Strike 3 – the third part of a series of strategy games, transferring during the Second World War. Several campaigns are available: for the USSR and the Allies. Playing the Soviets, you have to go through the Battle of Crimea, defending Kerch, and controlling the Alliance troops, you will clash in battle with the Japanese imperialists.

The game involves 4 parties to the conflict: the USSR, the USA, Germany and Japan. 11 missions of the campaign will allow you to go through such historical events as the liberation of Kerch, the Normandy landings, the German counterattack on the Western Front, the battle for Iwo Jima, etc. Each faction has its own characteristics and individual tactics. There is absolutely no resource extraction mechanic. Reinforcements of the troops come gradually, so your task is to hold out before the auxiliary detachments are sent.

Maps have two modes: strategic and tactical. The fog of war is also active. To find points of interest or open enemy positions, you need to carefully explore the location. Sudden Strike 3: Arms For Victory offers two types of tasks: first, one side of the conflict is defending, and the other is attacking. Then everything is exactly the opposite.
