Stalker Chronicles of Kaidan – a modification to “Shadow of Chernobyl”, where the main character is Kaidan, whom players could see in the “Omega Option” add-on. Events start a few months after the werewolves left the Zone. Stalker Kaidan occupy the bar building and open an agency called Omega there and expect orders from the first customers.

At the same moment, the hero begins to remember the events of the past. He receives an order from General Voronin, who instructs him to investigate some anomalies in the Zone and find his missing people in this area. The modification has an original plot and includes many changes and improvements:

• many minor characters;
• a huge number of secondary quests;
• new locations have been added, such as Bar, Eastern Pripyat, Jupiter Outskirts, Sarcophagus, Control Bunker and Chernobyl-2.
• some game mechanics have been reworked.

The gameplay tries not to focus on the shooter component. The developers tried to pay more attention to the environment and the study of the surroundings, adding elements of immersiveness to the Chronicles of Kaidan. Many quests contain a large number of inventive puzzles based on logic.
