Spinch is an action-platformer with a camera located on the side and creating the possibility of movement in only two dimensions. The developers of this indie project took inspiration from the classic games of this genre to create an exciting gameplay with some additions to the retro model. Graphically, “Spinch” is rendered using a variety of vibrant colors in a wide range of hues to create a memorable image with massive special effects. Responsible well-known artist from Canada – Jesse Jacobs – is responsible for such visual design.

The protagonist of the single player mode is a small creature resembling a white ball with short legs and arms. The virtual protégé will have a long journey, during which the gamer will appreciate many bizarre dimensions, with gigantic differences among themselves: plains decorated with neon lamps, islands long covered with ice, open space, biomes for experiments. All these locations are inhabited by certain monsters, from acidic spiders with neon inserts, to iridescent earthworms and dogs that attack from a distance with exploding projectiles. Also, sometimes huge bosses with increased health points and powerful attacks get in the way of the user. You can resist aggressive enemies thanks to the ability of the protagonist to shoot his own children, using them as ammunition.
