Rus Island (game) is an action-adventure game with arcade controls and simple mechanics for gamers of all ages. The project was created by English programmers who took as a basis the work of the same name by two writers – Sergey Lukyanenko and Yuri Burkin. The developers used cartoon graphics, which makes this game look like cartoons. The creators tried to transfer all the features of the universe described in the book with high accuracy. Each location, performed with the inherent flavor of the English village, is filled with epic representatives of folk art.

A three-dimensional adventure with a third-person view invites the player to take part in epic battles against a huge number of villains that serve Zmey Gorynych, Koshchei the Immortal and other antagonists that appear in the game. The gamer is invited to switch between 4 game characters – 3 heroes and Ivan the Fool. All of them differ from each other in a set of characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, which make them more effective at certain points, forcing the gamer to alternate them in order to successfully move forward in the story. The single-player campaign is divided into a dozen levels that are interconnected. In addition to enemies, puzzles blocking the path can make the player difficult.
