Rise of the Argonauts is an action-RPG that immerses the player in a world based on the myths and legends of Ancient Greece. The main character is Jason, the king of the rich and prosperous country of Iolka, beloved and respected by his subjects, who is preparing for the wedding with the beautiful Alsem. But on a significant day, the adherents of a mysterious dark cult kill the girl, and in order to return the bride from the world of the dead, Jason must go on a long and dangerous journey for the Golden Fleece.

On the way, the hero is accompanied by companions, including Hercules, Achilles, the queen of the Amazons Atalanta and even the satyr Pan. Each character has its own unique parameters, talents and fighting style, but only two can be on the team at the same time. In addition, as the game progresses, master shipbuilders, carpenters and blacksmiths join Jason, who allow you to improve the characteristics of the Argo ship.

A feature of the game is the system of worship of the gods. By sacrificing special items and praying to a chosen patron (Hermes, Athena, Ares, or Apollo), Jason gains special skills and additional stat points.

For maximum realism, the game does not have a classic interface with health and mana scales. It is now possible to judge the state of characters by a visual change in their appearance: animated and various effects from blows will appear right during the battle, both for allies and enemies.
