Riff Racer is an unusual arcade racing simulator with interactive race tracks that are created in real time and completely depend on the player’s musical preferences. The mechanics of the game is based on the MEGA engine, which is able to read the individual components of the work and implement it into routes.

Dynamic routes are based on the analysis of the melody, its rhythm and composition. The verses and choruses are embodied in the finish lines and control points, and the surrounding space is stylized as a musical direction, retaining, however, the overall futuristic direction in the design.

In addition to 25 tracks built into the game, it is possible to create tracks for the user’s personal music collection. Despite the fact that Riff Racer does not support multiplayer, you can complete the route to your favorite songs with the phantoms of friends who have already completed this race. A set of points for victory is carried out by “getting into the rhythm”, i.e. performing stunts (jumps, rolls in the air and drifting) and overcoming obstacles at the climax of the songs, as well as maintaining the tempo of the composition and keeping up with the timeline.

The game has a system of gradual development through achievements and records. As you progress and improve your results, it is possible to open secret cars and new customization options for your own racing car.
