Prime World – Thrones is a mixture of RPG and MOBA. In it, gamers are assigned the role of Lords. They fight for prime in a fantasy world. The project has elements of a city-building simulator. It also has terramorphing. Characters can take over land and transform it to receive bonuses for being on it.
Players hire heroes, which they themselves then control in battles. Users develop their castles by building buildings in them. In the strongholds, they can buy and upgrade fighters, produce talents for them and activate them. These skills are reminiscent of artifacts from other representatives of the genre. The gameplay is similar to DOTA in many ways. The title is designed for PvP. But it has the ability to fight bots and participate in mini-games. Users are allowed to join clans. They are also allowed to mine skins for their wards.
In Prime World, several modes are available to users:
- Borderlands – a classic confrontation between two teams of 5 people each on a map with a forest, three lanes, bases and creeps;
- Tests – five users defend the point from waves of monsters that are under the control of AI;
- Fixed fight – an analogue of training, where the participants in the fight do not win anything, but also do not lose anything;
- Outpost – 6 warriors are divided into 2 groups and fight in a location with a single line;
- Dragonwald – here heroes can only swing on mobs, and a powerful dragon guards the road between the towers.
“Borderland” has several modifications. In “Maneuvers” the rating system is disabled. “Doomsday” just visually changes the map, making it more gloomy. “Homeland” adds the mechanics of holding flags. And in Leapfrog, each participant receives a random hero from his team.
