Operation Flashpoint: Resistance – one of two major additions to the tactical shooter of the same name. The main theme of the addon is the conflict between NATO and the USSR. All events are fictional and take place during the Cold War. The Resistance campaign allows you to see the conflict from a different perspective than it was presented in the original game.

Like the main Operation Flashpoint, Resistance puts a huge emphasis on realistic combat simulation. A lot of military equipment with its own characteristics and features is presented. A huge interactive space is available for exploration. The game gives you complete freedom of action.

The gameplay is distinguished by maximum attention to detail and realism of what is happening. A brand new story campaign invites you to visit a huge island, where a serious armed conflict has to be resolved. Events develop several years before the tragically famous Cold War.

The island of Nogovia is under attack by Soviet troops. In the person of the protagonist Viktor Troshka, a former fighter of an elite unit, you will have to lead a resistance detachment to protect your land from enemy invasion. Use all available means to fight the powerful Soviet army. Rely only on your skills and tactical ingenuity. Help is nowhere to be found. Only by taking matters into your own hands, you can achieve true freedom!
