Onikira – Demon Killer – a dynamic beat-em-up, the events of which take place in feudal Japan. You play as a brave samurai who opposes the forces of darkness. Demons enter the world of the living from the underworld. Yamazaki Jiro single-handedly enters the warpath with the army of the underworld kingdom of Yomi.

The combat system is a complex and well-thought-out mechanic, characteristic of slasher games like Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta. Onikira allows you to choose your play style. Fight with heavy or light weapons, use long-range attacks or learn complex combos. Throw an enemy into the air, jump over walls and obstacles, use the Naginata device, make a swift dash, pull enemies and use your deadly katana.

You can use the grappling hook to grab onto platforms to jump over chasms or fire pits. Onikira – Demon Killer campaign features 7 unique areas: rainy village, ruined city, mountain top and erupting volcano, etc. Each location contains different types of opponents. After each chapter, fight difficult bosses. Using 4 types of weapons, including a sword, tetsubo, naginata or blades, overcome different challenges.

Bring down support pillars to make them fall on the heads of enemies, throw enemies on spikes, pits or other deadly objects. Collect the souls of opponents to upgrade your abilities and upgrade your weapons. Challenge arenas are available, where the best players get to the top of the leaderboard.
