Half-Life 2D: Block Mesa is a 2D remake of the original Half-Life. The story also begins with a laboratory where another experiment was supposed to take place. Nothing foreshadowed trouble until a powerful explosion occurred right in front of your eyes. Alien entities have penetrated from the world of Zen, a detachment of the military is trying to rectify the situation, but every minute it becomes more and more difficult. Scientists are torn to shreds, and you miraculously manage to escape.

The main difference between Half-Life 2D: Block Mesa and the original is that the game has changed perspective. Now Halfa has become a cubic side-scroller, which, nevertheless, completely repeats all the key elements of the main game. You play as the silent protagonist Gordon Freeman. He is dressed in a special suit and uses a huge variety of futuristic weapons, as well as a crowbar, which has become a symbol of the series.
