GUNBIRD is a vertical scrolling shooter in anime style. A group of characters, each pursuing their own goals, is looking for the Magic Mirror. This artifact will show the owner the location of the genie, and he will be able to fulfill his every wish. The item must first be assembled, so it was broken into 4 parts and scattered around the world. They are hunted not only by adventurers, but also by the group of sky pirates The Trump, consisting of Ace, Rouge and Claude. They put spokes in the wheels of adventurers in every possible way. Events unfold in the world of steampunk. The story develops in between battles. There are 7 difficulty levels.

The project was originally developed for arcade machines back in the nineties. Over time, it was ported to the PC. The game is also known as Mobile Light Force. Its peculiarity lies in the presence of different heroes. They differ in appearance, character and means of transportation. The fighters are controlled a little unusually. There are 2 attack buttons – one allows you to quickly fire, and the second allows you to charge shots. There are also bombs in limited quantities. In battle, you can collect upgrades for weapons.

There are 5 characters available in the game:

• Marion is an English teenage broom-wielding witch who often takes out her emotions on her talking bunny named Pom-Pom;
• Ash is a young German inventor who travels through the air on a jetpack;
• Yuan Nang is a strong and strong-willed Chinese woman who rides a cloud;
• Valnus, a English-made flying robot that dreams of becoming a human;
• Tetsu is an elderly helicopter pilot from Japan with a campy demeanor.
