GIANTIC ARMY is a real excursion into the world of 16-bit side-scrollers. The developers have tried to convey the spirit of old-school arcade games. The gameplay is inspired by titles such as Metal Warriors and Front Mission: Gun Hazard. The events of the game are transferred to the near future of the 21st century, when the Earth is on the verge of war with the Ramulons – a hostile alien race.

The conflict took on an intergalactic scale and reached the planet Ramulon itself. To protect humanity, you need to get into the cockpit of the GMR-34 SALADIN combat mech. Fight an entire army of space invaders. Before the start of the battle, start setting up and customizing the robot. Allows you to choose explosive, throwing and plasma weapons. Combine guns and fight with hand-to-hand attacks.

Equip your robot with engines and a shield. Do your best to prevent the enemy from breaking through the defenses and reaching the Earth. The campaign consists of 6 stages. On your way there are 12 difficult bosses, each of which poses a serious threat. There are 4 difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Medium, Hard and Insane.

Full mecha customization will allow you to customize your character depending on your playstyle. Use swift dash to gain a temporary advantage during the fight. Unlike the original Japanese version, GIGANTIC ARMY has been rebalanced and contains minor gameplay changes.
