Kingdom O’Magic is a quest that pretends to be a role-playing game and parodies the fantasy genre. There is a choice of the protagonist (Thidney the lizard and Shah-Ron the girl), gathering a team of adventurers, changing the time of day, a certain freedom with non-linearity, NPCs issuing errands and even shops that sell equipment. Despite all this, this title belongs to a point-and-click adventure, not an RPG. The action takes place in the lands called the Magic Kingdom.

There are 3 separate storylines available in Kingdom O’Magic:

• The Good, Old Fashioned, Traditional Quest invites the player to “save the dragon, steal the princess, and kill the treasure” (in that order);
• The Magnificent 7-11 Quest gives the user the opportunity to assemble a party of different characters in order to use them to repel the invading enemy forces and save the city of Flake;
• The Bizarre & Slightly Twisted Quest sends the user in search of an ancient lava lamp, which is necessary to defeat the Dark Lord and save the entire civilization.

All three of these stories represent levels of difficulty at the same time. They often reuse the same locations (and items too). However, there is plenty of different content. Therefore, having come to a familiar place, you may not meet previously seen NPCs there. Accordingly, various tasks will be available only in specific branches. The narrative often jokes about the works of John Tolkien and makes references to his work.
