Counter-Strike 2D is a multiplayer action game developed on the basis of the popular competitive game Counter-Strike. The younger version of the game quickly gained popularity among casual and hardcore gamers. The core gameplay of CS2D relies on the mechanics of the older game, but shifts the perspective from FPS to top-down mode, which significantly changes the dynamics of the gameplay.

Two teams are fighting each other. Some represent the terrorist group (T), while others represent the counter-terrorist special forces (CT). Among the game modes are: planting a bomb, rescuing hostages, killing VIPs, capturing the flag, building, zombies, deathmatch and team deathmatch.

Terrorists are highlighted in red and counter-terrorists in blue. Win matches and win rounds to get money. Funds are allowed to be spent on weapons, ammunition, body armor, night vision devices and other types of auxiliary equipment.
